What is the proper protocol when the Club Pro is watching a match, just sitting there watching and cheering on his players. I've seen it happen and I have been curious to your response.
There is no reason that a club pro should not be allowed to watch a WTTA match. Many times they like to watch their players in action to help them with improving their match play skills. However, just like any other spectator, they should abide by the spectator rules. These include not giving any input on the match, no coaching, etc. Additionally, if players are bothered by cheering by any spectator, they can ask that all spectators remain quiet, including any pros or coaches who are watching.
